After many suggestions I am finally going to try to keep up a blog of my current journey - I'll see how it goes!
Today I moved into a little hotel named Esther's. It is wonderful; an older building in the 'Airport' area of Accra. All the wood floors are immaculately polished and it is not immediately under the approach to the airport where I have been for my first three nights in Accra.
There is a lovely lady that has a fruit and vegetable stall just outside the hotel so one of the first things I did was to purchase one of the incredibly sweet pineapples available here, along with a few bananas; going back later in the afternoon for some vegetables for dinner. I think I am going to enjoy being here until I am able to move into my 'permanent' housing in Accra!
